ETOT 2017 Summit, London

07-Nov-2017

7 - 9 November 2017, London

Organised by

International Research Networks (irn)

Synopsis

ETOT is the only recognised platform for energy back office and IT professionals to conquer their challenges, share their successes and to generally come together as one industry group. In it's 9th year, ETOT remains the place to meet key energy players and discuss best practices and ways of overcoming - as an industry - the most pressing challenges around operational and technology issues.

Whether you work in IT, back office or operations within the trading department of your company, ETOT 2017 is a ‘must attend’ for you.

Focus areas

Gain insights in three key areas:

  • Back office - The decreasing liquidity of markets and regulations are putting a lot of pressure on the back office, enticing this central department to rethink and streamline processes, including reporting, clearing, cash management and settlement. The Summit will focus on these areas in a dedicated stream of sessions led by business and operations experts.
  • Technology - A large part of the changes in the industry can be traced back to technology development. Development of digital trading, new technologies such as blockchain and cloud computing, are all shaping energy trading. An IT-focused stream will allow for specific discussions around IT innovation but will also cover IT strategy challenges such as reporting or system mergers.
  • Energy Trading Transformation - The energy markets are changing, with fewer new entrances, and new ways of trading and processing. Energy trading companies must adapt to these changes, and try to make the most out of them. ETOT 2017 will provide updates on the deep industry changes, as well as on the subsequent cost-cutting projects companies are developing.
