That’s why we recently introduced AI-powered natural language search within the Lacima Help Centre.
What’s New?
Users can now ask a question in plain language to receive a concise, summarised response drawn directly from Help Centre content.
The benefit
In addition to searching with keywords, or by navigating through categories, you can ask simply type questions like:
- “How do I run a historical VaR simulation?”
- “How do I configure a forward curve for profiling?”
You can enter shorter phrases like:
- “Historical var simulation”
- “Forward curve profiling”
There is no need to worry about punctuation, capitalisation, or formatting – the search tool understands natural input.
The AI-powered search then generates a clear summary based on one or more relevant Help Centre articles. In many cases, the summary itself may answer users’ questions, however if more detail is required, a direct link to the primary source article is included, allowing them to explore the full guidance.
‘Smart Search’ results are displayed alongside traditional article listings, giving users the flexibility to choose the approach that best suits their needs.
